At MATERIALIST, we want you to shop with confidence. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

Returns

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible:

  • Unworn and unused
  • In original condition
  • All tags attached
  • Original packaging where possible

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be declined.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Items marked as Final Sale at checkout
  • Items returned after 14 days

Return Process

Request
Email hello@materialistwear.com with your order number.

Approval
Once approved, you will receive a return slip and instructions.

Ship
Enclose the return slip and dispatch your parcel within 10 days of approval.

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
We recommend using a trackable service, as MATERIALIST cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

Refunds & Store Credit

Once your return has been received and inspected, you may choose your preferred method of reimbursement:

Refund to Original Payment

  • Processed within 3 to 5 working days
  • Bank processing times may vary
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable

Store Credit (Fastest Option)

  • Issued upon approval of your return
  • Available immediately for future purchases
  • No waiting time or bank processing delays

Faulty or Incorrect Items

We carefully inspect all products before dispatch.

If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide clear photos

We will arrange a replacement or refund where applicable.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

The fastest way to exchange an item is to return it and place a new order once your return is approved.

International Orders

  • Duties and import taxes are charged by local authorities and are non-refundable
  • If a parcel is refused or unclaimed, any return shipping fees incurred will be deducted from your refund

Additional Notes

  • Returns must be authorised before being sent
  • Unauthorised returns will not be accepted
  • Items returned in unsuitable condition may be refused
